The Night Sky ll by wenbow

The Night Sky ll

No moon, the Milky Way in sight & a hint of Aurora Australis. This white glow was in a shape of a cloud sitting higher in the sky tonight, hence the different colour. It's colours change from green to red up at 100km. Thought I was seeing things again, took this shot with a frost growing around me, brrr. Winter has finally made it's mark
Can anyone help with the right settings for taking this sort of shot? I am running with not much of an idea. Struggle with the focus in the dark, too
Wow- so different from the green! The only thing I can suggest is that other folks here have said there are quite a few tutorials on YouTube, so that if you don't get an answer from someone here, you might find one there. Mysterious shot!

Interesting to see the different colors you get. To be honest, I had never heard of the Aurora Australis before your posts. I love the education!

Very interesting!
We see the aurora borealis (or the northern lights);
you see the aurora australis (or the southern lights).

I don't know how to set your camera - but love this shot!
