My neice's son (with the red sleeves) was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when he was 18 months old. A group of us went with them on the "Step Out Walk to Stop Diabetes". Great turnout!!
my girlfriend has it too. but she didn't get it at that age. wow, what a turnout for the walk! it is good to live in an age when help is available to help him live a relatively normal life.
