I spent the day with my daughter & grandchildren on Jetty Island. It's a 5 min. ferry ride to one of the few sandy beaches on the Puget Sound. Most Washington beaches are rocky. The kids loved being able to play in real sand!! The weather was perfect and we all had a great time!
