Today I had lunch with my two good friends Jenn and Michelle. After lunch they gamely trekked across the parking lot so I could take (several) pictures of these black-eyed-susans. Lovely lunch; cheerful flowers; good day.
I read an article on NPR about photos and where they all are located now that people have digital cameras and then phones. I think the pics that I have on the computer are backed up but the ones on my phone just go to shutterfly. Hopefully they won't go out of business. Anyway I was trying to go through my photos and deleting the duplicates etc. it is crazy to see how everyone has grown and changed. It is also funny to see the flower pics that I have taken. I was looking at one that I took of that's very same flowers when we were together at the zoo. It makes me a little sad. It is all cold here and you guys are not here so it doesn't feel like summer.
I know what you mean. . .I think I took a picture of these flowers when we were at the zoo too, but the ones in Virginia don't seem as special as the ones I took when we were up there and everyone was together. That was a good day!
