Went to my friend Shannon's house after dinner. We meet once a month to talk about our quilting businesses, set goals, and work on various projects. I was only slightly jealous (ok, more than slightly jealous) that she has finished all the blocks for her modern log cabin and is thinking of making three more so it will be bed size. Meanwhile, I still have only two blocks and two little squares . . . When I got home Lily had done all the dishes, wiped the counters, and started the dishwasher.
@laurielizard I'm lucky to belong to a great quilt guild that meets five minutes from my house. I've made a lot of friends there over the last 15 or so years. I get together with a couple of different people for sewing (and talking!) and our whole guild meets once a month.
