My favorite gift from a student. My mom has a collection of tiny wooden angels and Christmas trees and snowmen that she puts in the front window every year. When I was young she used to put them under the Christmas tree . . . I used to lay on the floor and just look at them. They were my favorite thing about our tree then and I look forward to seeing them in the window now. My mom had given me a few angels to start my own collection, but I lost hem when we moved. Now thanks to my student Rachel, I can start a new set.
