fly me to the moon exhibit

At the QU quilt show today. On the quilt tags there is a phone number that you can call to hear the artists talking about their work -- so cool!

That's one of mine! Thank you! OMG, it was nerve-wracking to make the recording. I can't wait to see them all in person myself.

@margonaut I know!!!! I was so excited to see your quilts close up . . . they are amazing! Your recording is great, but one of the quilts has the wrong number listed on the paper. I was pretty sad about that, but now I can't remember which one has the wrong number. I felt a little like a stalker looking for your quilts! It is a pretty amazing exhibit and I wish I'd been able to finish mine. I hope you get to see them soon. One of my favorites is a huge moon with the text of a letter embroidered over it. The quilter's grandmother wrote about the first moon walk -- it gave me chills.

@wiesnerbeth I'm so glad you got to see them! They are all so different and wonderful. But I've only been able to see them online so far. I'll have to tell Susanne (curator of the exhibit) to check those numbers. Thanks for letting me know.
