Seven years in the making. I used to take this to soccer games, Model UN debates, and dance class when my kids were in middle and high school. I actually thought I might never finish it. I’m still trying to decide if it needs a little button right in the center.
It's wonderful! The buttons move your eye around the piece. Not sure about the center either. I tend to think not, but visual decisions have to be made visually. Maybe temporarily tape one there and look at it awhile.
@margonaut Thank you! A temporary button is a good idea. The whole time I was making it I felt like the brown in the baskets was too “brown,” so I kept adding more flowers. Then I added some brown in the binding to move your eye out. I think the center button was a way to focus on something other than the baskets. The problem is that there’s not much room.
