no crying before bus duty

My friend Melissa left a care package outside my office this morning. It was filled with good-smelling lotions and sachets and a candle (I can’t light matches though). And this, which caused me to bust out crying right before I had to go out and shuffle kids through the crosswalk. It’s been a rough month (or three).

Sorry you've been having a hard time. Pro tip - a mask helps hide the tears. Unfortunately, I was not wearing one on Thanksgiving when my kids were here and the "Where Are You Christmas" song came on. Bless their hearts, they just pretended not to notice.
