Portraits with Props

I was trying to shot a portrait for the Technique 41 challenge, http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/25748/technique-challenge-41-portraits-with-props

However, making music at the same time photographing just too challenging, and the lighting is crap too.

All my shots of my trio partner's face are blurred, I have to settle with his hands with props.

Love this.... Course, the clarinet has fond memories for both of us. John and I met in a summer youth band with we were 14 and 15 years old. We both played clarinet. Played them in our high school and college bands together too... Still have them. Wish the arthritis in my fingers allowed me to play now. FAV
