@louannwarren hey both appear to be very similar - the change in colour I think is mainly how the light is catching the moth as their body and forewing background are black, with a metallic green-blue sheen. Lovely to see.
@ludwigsdiana Diana thank you for you visit and question. I have lived inthe same house for 35 years and saw a few for the first time last year and there are quite a lot more this year but only on this wild bit of embankment. So am enjoying photographing them.
