English Bluebells by 30pics4jackiesdiamond

English Bluebells

The bluebells on the Sussex Downs are almost at their best and when the sun shone were glorious. North Americans and Antipodeans - brace yourselves for English bluebell shots for the next week or so from other 365ers!!

Returned to the 'bridge' camera as don't want to take d-slr sailing next month. It's a real pain to use off manual, but I was quite pleased with this taken on AV mode.
Lovely capture these are one of my favourite flowers and so lovely to see the carpets of blue.

Lovely close up. I'm hoping to go to our local woods this week, as the bluebells are out round here now.

I shoot in AV all the time- less to think about when a photo opp comes up! These are so pretty. Why not show more?!

@will_wooderson totally agree
@merrelyn going to be ashort season this year apparantly
@robz you probably will!!
@olivetreeann On this camera need to look through viewfinder to see the numbers and then use buttons on back to move numbers and dots! So complicated!!!
@suesouthwood looking forwards to seeing them
@amyk thank you
@josiegilbert look forwards to seeing your shots too!
@ludwigsdiana ashamed to say I rarely do manual (AV is size of apperture and I like a large apperture -small number- to get out of focus backgrounds!!)
@365anne thank you so much
@quietpurplehaze hope to see some of your shots soon then!!
@megpicatilly oh yes! I find the blue colours just don't show up properly
@wendyfrost the carpets are just sprining up!! Look like a sea in the woods!

I am so proud that this shot got on the TT and PP, thank you all so VERY VERY much xx

@summerfield https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/hardys-cottage/lists/woodland-walks-at-hardys-cottage I googled it for you!! Bluebells only flourish in ancient undisturbed woodland. Off out a again looking next week with my poorly friend as shes on a break from chemo! Expect more!!!!
