Panoramic Portsmouth Harbour

Revisited Potsmouth Harbour again this evening to get sunset with water shots. The light was too bright, contrasts too great and to be honest it was just too much hard work. Did take 100+ shots though.

Took little point and shoot to do a panoramic for Ross' weekly theme (no idea how to stitch separate shots but this camera does it for me, Pentax is as clueless as me!)

I was very mindful of the advice in this week's blog to be sure to have a focal point of the panorama, I think the crane stands nicely proud, the wreck is its usual sillhouette and the clouds just showing with the natural starburst sort of works!
Nice pano with great light and silhouettes.

Very pretty! I had to laugh about your comment on Gampy and being his kind of grandparent. Believe me, I let Leigh have lots of adventures but she is only 11 and we were twirling fire! Thankfully she is a gal with a level head and also listens to instructions so a good time was had by all!

I hadn't thought of a point and shoot stitching images, must go through the (online) manual to see if mine does. Stitching is way beyond me too :)
