Ha ha, yes we have all got a collection like this. Well I used to have one. I sorted out the kitchen drawer a while ago and decided to be ruthless and throw them out. Hope I won't regret it.
LOL- last year I finally pulled out all the soccer ball candles I used to use on my younger son's b-day cakes and gave them to my d-i-l for my grandsons' b-day cakes. My son is 38 and grandson's 7 and 5! I think you're in good company! I like the way the candles are tossed about here and like Maggie's idea of a "pick up the candle sticks" game. Fun shot!
@30pics4jackiesdiamond (o; You have a meticulous eye for detail then and are a better prop master than I since I would have unceremoniously tossed them on the table top!
Reminds me of the time my dad and his twin brother turned 30. My grandma attempted to light 60 candles on the cake... she did light them, but then the cake collapsed and set the table cloth on fire.
Same here. But about once a year I melt all my candle „left overs“ and make some new big candles for the storm lamps on the balcony. And I just add the tiny ones too.
