Collecting Together some Props

At Camera Club next week our guest speakers are wedding photographers and we need to take in some props so we can put into practise what they teach us. Where does one purchase confetti these days????

party supply stores or online! fun to do a detail shoot! take some champagne glasses if you have some!

What a lovely collection of props. I don't think you can buy confetti these days, you are supposed to use rice I believe, but don't cook it first.

Most of our brides call for bird seed or bubbles here. Lovely wedding still life. You should have some fun at your club meeting.

I get confetti from the local newsagent. The other place is cake decorating shops, but I usually plump for the newsagent on the corner. Classic shot.

Wasn't there another shot somewhere on 365 where bubbles were used at a wedding instead of confetti???
I'd like to learn more about your camera group and how it functions. I'm in one but it is more lecture/slideshow than actual practice.

@granagringa we meet fortnightly and have themes. We occasionally have guest speakers who we pay with wine ( save on VAT!) We are more if a self help group and play support eachother. At Christmas I'm leading the bokeh (!) session and someone else is doing planning. We have challenges, no prizes, no criticism unless requested. No competitions at all. We also organise out of meeting outings, and usually have a laugh.
