Little Maki and her friends had had such a wonderful time at the luau last night, they suggested she set aside clean-up and join them for "plate lunch" where they would "talk story" about the conversations of the night before. They were enjoying their meal in a "calabash" when, seemingly from no where, a filching finch, fleeing the law, ran poor Maki down and even paused to eat some of her lunch! Everyone dining with her was shocked that their beloved friend was treated so shabbily, and there was a moments pause to check on her well-being. She was going to be just fine, and fortunately the whole attack was caught on tape. Tonight Finch is a jail bird and the attack is just a bad memory.
Tomorrow Maki will travel, leaving the birds to fly in style on a plane to the "Mainland". All's well that ends well... Aloha ♥
Such a terrible assault by a couple of local ruffians. So good that you caught it 'on tape' and could identify the perps!
