Midnight at LAX ... And My Holiday Carriage has Turned Back into a Pumpkin
Arrived at LAX early, only to be without a gate, and so we sat another hour on the runway ... We had a couple other minor glitches and walked into the house at 2AM (which really was only 11 in Hawaii).
We're home safe.
We had an amazing vacation.
And instead of dwelling on the chaos that is often
life in Southern California, my mind drifts back to the couple who had their backs turned to everyone as they sat on a bluff watching the whales...
Life is good...
@joysfocus ...of course...the kids just left for home... I donned a favorite muumuu and filled my new raku vase with tropical (sort of...) flowers, and I'm ordering "free cards" on Shutterfly with lots of vacation photos... doing well...Thanks!
@pyrrhula I did all my "relaxing" on vacation! I'm really going to miss the kids...they just left. See my note to Joy just above yours... I'm working on a project now today and tomorrow...goo timing to get all the free cards!
Ah, yes, the good times of vacations must end. Welcome home. We know this feeling. Hope all your luggage made it home with you and it didn't end up in Chicago or somewhere.... (One of our pieces did just that one time....... We came into San Diego; the suitcase went to Chicago!)
