I've dipped into the old albums looking for some bygone Easter photos. Having posted one of myself in 1966 http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2015-04-03 , I look at this and it strikes me that eleven years later I have the dearest of husbands, two beautiful little girls and a very sweet mother-in-law.
This "Memory Lane Trip" has provided me with some lovely introspective moments that add to the appreciation of my life.
What a wonderful vintage shot, and even the photo has aged appropriately with that distinct discoloration! Did you take this picture?! Your family is and has always been lovely, and your MIL looks like a very sweet lady. Love Ken's mustache, and the dresses on the girls! You are very blessed indeed......Happy Easter dear friend!
@panthora Oh thank you for the sweet note, Osia ♥ Yes, I was behind the camera ... then Ken and I switched out and I have one with me in it ... but I'd just posted the one of me and didn't think I needed to be in there twice ... So true about the discoloration! That album is totally full of "beige" photos! ... Get out your calendar and start considering dates "our group" might get together again! Ron suggested Wild Animal Park... I'll keep in touch with you about that...
Happy Easter and Passover to you and Roger... xo
Thanks for sharing such special memories! I like that everyone looks so happy. Makes me value the pictures I have even more. Lots of history contained in them.
