We made a shopping run last evening for Easter Card props... I've never mulled the purchase of Jelly Beans so carefully ... Didn't want any black ones, considered Jelly Bellies, but they're expensive for "just props", waved away Ken's choice of malt-ball eggs as they weren't shiny, and finally settled on Life-Saver flavors. Needed a bunny of course...and a cute basket...eggs and dye... (are you paying attention Osia @panthora ? She's the one who started this!) ...thought I might still have grass of some sort in my art-room stash...
,,,and then I saw that over-sized cupcake ,,, Sweet-tooth Attack! Got my picture! There'll be no cake in my Sunday Easter card...(but I did split it with Ken!) umnomnom...
cake is good for you. in 1966 there was nothing else to eat but same-old, same-old. now there's cupcake, jelly beans, chocolates of all sorts, cakes, and did i mention chocolates of all sorts? :-) nice set up! now, hand me that bunny! please and thank you!
@aglennc I'm not in the league with the young ladies who buy clothing and stiletto heels for some amazing photos! Of course that might be because I ran into too many cupcakes...
@arpak My friend and neighbor, Billy said he met you and came back with the message that I could find your photos here. I'd love to see them! Will you send a link? Congratulations on your entry back into Lunenburg; how Ken and I would loe to be there to enjoy all the wonderful music! Happy Easter...I hope this reaches you!
@flygirl Oh you make me smile! I love to have something to share with an audience but don't like having a spotlight on me! Thanks for listening :D Happy Easter, Dee!
I love Lindt bunnies, especially if dark chocolate. Unfortunately this Easter my Lindt bunny must have gotten lost on his way as he never arrived. Your set up looks extremely decadent. Glad you and Ken enjoyed the cupcake.
Lovely Easter image. We were given a lovely Gold Lindt Easter Bunny like this one, yesterday evening, as we had guests for dinner. When I got up this morning, someone had eaten his ears! And I wanted him for a photo prop first. My husband is hanging his head in shame!!
It is perfect for the celebration, and then the joy of eating it when you are all finished. How nice. Wishing you and your entire family a Happy Easter. Thanks for the note Louise. You are so on top of things!
@jamibann@chard And I thought Richard had dropped in... (see his comment above!) So very funny... the memory ...what is it about the ears we all loved so much?! (We all did it, didn't we?!)
@Weezilou Ha ha, our bunny is now but a distant memory - he has been smashed to smithereens and is well and truly on his way to being entirely scoffed! What did he ever do to deserve that, I ask myself?! Victim of being chocolate, I guess!
