This is one of those photos of a personal occasion that is a necessary part of my photo journal. One friend/neighbour had to leave earlier & Ken took the photo. We've known each other for between 20-40 years. All but two of these people have come to Lunenburg to visit (and maybe they'll find their way up there one day!) Here, we've just spent 4 hours around the table, visiting, catching up, renewing friendships and, in my opinion, having a marvelous time! Ken and I think we need to do this more often!
@panthora In the last 10 minutes of a successful gathering, don't we all have that "Whew!" moment! Makes a hostess happy as we always want our friends to have had a wonderful time!
@ethelperry Ken gets all credit here for a successful photo! I so very seldom use a flash, but we were enjoying low light and candles over dessert, and I didn't want to miss a good photo of everyone. My birthday gift to Enid will be a photo book of our week here and, coming up, San Diego and Mexico, so I want good photo choices! The text with my photos is always mine.
