These folks comprised the family and friends with whom I was staying, and I had to arrange to get that wonderful car in the group photo as well! The Arbuelo (Grandfather) had always wanted a car like this, and now he has one, a 1930 Model A Ford! They even towed it along from their home in Arizona for the weekend so he could drive it a little around here. Let me explain the difficulty in arranging everyone quickly when I didn’t share a common language with most, used my small tripod, set on a folding table we brought to the park, and all the while hoping my camera wouldn’t fall! I had to crop deeply to get some semblance of a proper horizon line, but all’s good…I have a delightful memory!
We can’t believe all we’ve done already and we still have 3.5 days left down here (plus the weekend in SD with Ken). He didn’t make this trip with us as the finishing touches are being put on our back yard. I can’t tell you how excited I am to see it finished!
Wonderful family portrait.....you spread joy wherever you go! I am hoping I will get to see you when you are in SD for the weekend, but if not, hopefully the following weekend!
