In direct contrast to the fall colours out back, we've got two large bushes of daisies ("Montauk Daisies" I was told by the well-informed landscape designer- my neighbour, Pam - who selected them for our garden!) blooming like crazy out front! They're glistening because we had just had a 3-minute sleet storm move through! The moment it passed, the sun shown, cast shadows across the wet pavement and made everything glisten!
I captured the few bits of sleet on Ken's jacket to note the moment, but it was over so fast, I didn't get any video that included the distinctive "sound"!
Great shot of this lovely flower.
We have storm season now. Last Sunday one and a warning for tomorrow. 7/8 Beaufort and rain. Great weather to finish a series of hummingbirds brooches .
The summer does not want to let it's hold on us go. You caught some beautiful light on that lovely flower Louise. :) We had our first few snow flurries here this morning.
