When longing for my cat, Richard suggested I just hug a duck! And here they are to comfort me. This same pair has been coming here for as long as I've been a member of 365; she has a recognizable limp. At times we've had many more (all males), but these are our "pets". "Sir Francis Drake", I call him, and "Judith", the ship he sailed. We can't pet them, but they don't run off when we step into the yard and are quite comfortable with us around.

@tj22 Thanks TJ! We had ducklings once that I know of http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2014-04-26 but we were not home, and a friend, caring for the house, sent this text and then photos! The pool looks different because we completely redid our backyard and pool last spring. Of course that was all recorded with pictures on 365 as well!
So glad you have your duck pets. Amazing this pair has returned for the past several years. We miss visiting our duck friends at Beacon Hill park in Victoria.
