Marshmallow, Marshmallow, Where's My Marshmallow?!
AT LAST I prepared ahead of time! I got the big Nikon all set up and tested the flash outdoors a few times so that when little Marshmallow showed up, I could (hopefully) snag some decently lit photos! I was on my own, holding the marshmallow while trying to grab my photos... Yes, he even stood up in front of me, too close to get a proper "quick" focus, but he fumbled the marshmallow on one of his retreats to eat it!
Oh my! Just wondering. Who takes care of your backyard zoo when you are in NS? Cute shots. Love that little masked face. Oh -- by the way ---- The Safari Park's annual Butterfly exhibit runs from March 10 to April 12. Always good to go during the first week...... more butterflies. If we want a photoshoot, or you'd like to come down to see it., we suggest about mid week or as soon as possible. It always gets into Easter break for kids towards the end, and it becomes a madhouse.
@aglennc Thanks for the information, Anita! We'll be babysitting the boys for a couple days soon, and I just sent your information to Ashley. We'd love to bring the boys down as it would be a terrific place to entertain them! Will let you know if and when we do as it would be fun to see you.
@Weezilou We'll go with you!! We go every year. We saw where they bring these butterflies in from on our trip.... Never saw so many in our lives as we did -- especially at Iguazu Falls. Everywhere
I don't think my hubby would want me feeding marshmallow here in Nova Scotia.
