Ever on the lookout for a friendly cat who'd like to come visit us for the summer, I saw this handsome fellow sitting in the middle of the street (which is *not* a heavily traveled zone) and immediately coveted him! After taking a few photos, he wandered back to the yard where I knew "Fred" lived a few years ago, but it was a month before I saw him again (as I write this on July 2nd). I suspect word got back to the owners that there was a cat-napper in the neighborhood, and they keep their pets under constant watch.
Ha, ha, Louise. I thought a cat napper was someone who took a quick revival nap by just closing their eyes? You're such an old hand, at cajoling animals your way, it's a wonder it hasn't wandered over for treats.
