We went to visit college friends, John & Mary late this afternoon, and was surprised to see that their house is going to go on the market! Her father & uncle were two of the original home owners on this now-very-popular island location, and she inherited the home where they raised their three children.
She and I were college roommates in the 60s and were dating our future husbands back then, so we're never without lots to talk about. I unearthed photos from a dinner party to celebrate the millennium at their home, an all black and white affair, and took those along to share. Where does the time get away to?!
We walked to a restaurant for dinner, and promised to get together again soon as there's still so much to catch up on! It was wonderful to be out!
What a stunning view - oh how I would love to live with this!! It seems sad that your friends are giving this up - hopefully for something even better?
How lovely to catch up with your college friends. Isn't it wonderful to meet up with people who know you so well and have been friends for life!! I bet you and your roomy have some fab stories to tel!! LOL!! Fav!
Great to hear you're out and about again Louise. This is a super scene, wonderful colour and silhouettes. What a shame to sell a house in this location.
