For WWYD167, Mek gave us a skyline in Rotterdam that can be seen from his office. In a surreal fashion I let Dylan disassemble the waterfront buildings and do a little city planning of his own.
@golftragic No time to worry with too much realism here, but I always have a lot of "stock photography" to draw from after the boys visit! Here, he was leaning across the table as his dad was opening a birthday present...just the position I needed for him to be on the floor with the toys!
When I first saw this picture I thought you had done some fantastic new processing to make part of the picture look flat. Joke is on me! Good luck on the challenge.
@jamibann (Big Smile!) I wondered who'd be the first to comment! I tried to make Posh look like a plush squirrel I have in Canada... Thanks! @pamknowler Thanks, Pam! It was sort of a "grab a bit of this picture and a spot of that and glue them up on the board!" I once had an art teacher who would like this sort of thing and tell me I was trying too hard if I worked to make something "look good" to my own way of thinking. It's all in the eye of the beholder! and you, Missy, I hope you're feeling MUCH better or that you'll go see a doctor!
@Weezilou Feeling much better thanks Louise although using a walking stick as every now and then my knee is giving way. I just have to be careful not to twist my knee as then it's agony. Pain killers, ice pack, deep heat - rest as much as I can. Barb has walked the dogs. I did manage to get out with her to the food shop - driving was fine - thank goodness for my automatic gear box!! Dropped the walking stick a few times!! LOL!!
@pyrrhula Ferry, that's SO interesting! It always helps to get a "sense of place" when we better understand where things are located. I was really taken by the gorgeous and unusually modern architecture I saw there in Google images!
