"Just a Snap Shot" but one of those sweet moments for the memory book! Tigger, for some time, has been fascinated with Posh, wanting to get close to her, but showing no signs of aggression or quick movements. This afternoon Ken and I sat at the table feeding her, and Tig watched from close by. It should be noted that the squirrel is quite calm around him as well!
How sweet is this! I love the way Tigger is just calmly watching Posh. They will be best of friends soon! How is Buttercup by the way? Does she sit outside with you yet? Fav!
@pamknowler She was on the chair seat in front of him before this, and for at least 10 minutes he sat watching as we fed her! Ken got involved in feeding her today and is silly-nuts now over her too! Buttercup garnered lots of inside cuddle time, but I've only taken her out to sit in the sun with me once. We've noticed she's putting on some weight where she'd been so thin and is looking heaps better! I think that being an indoor cat will be healthier for her...for the time being at least!
They are so cute together! And I know how much you must be enjoying this! We had too many squirrels ruining our yard in South Carolina. Kirby tried everything to encourage the squirrels to find a new yard. Finally he installed a doggie door for Jake. All he had to do was say, "Jake! Squirrel!" and Jake shot out the door and treed the squirrel. Then the squirrel would look down at Jake and give him a piece of his mind. It was very entertaining in just the opposite way that you are being entertained!
@golftragic Pity indeed! Of course I'm running something of a benevolent dictatorship in my back yard, but they're a quick study! Exciting update... as Posh was holding my fingers and eating from my hand, I was able to stroke her face and neck with my thumb! I love the give & take I'm developing with her! (Thanks always for the friendly chats!)
@Weezilou Oh wow, that's fabulous Louise, you really are an animal-whisperer, my friend. Take a bow. As for benevolent dictatorships, I'm all for them. Problem is, of course, in the human world dictators rarely stay benevolent for long.
