It always seems that if you arrive at the airport early, you'll get home early...*not*...the gate is never ready, Unlike many, I love any extra time on the plane, especially with a view like this, watching the colors changing and planes taking off.
These beautiful-but-threatening thunderheads came to nothing, and we've had warm, sunny weather thus far.
But this is Chicago...all that can change at any time!
Can I fav this twice? How beautiful this is with the towering clouds and the glowing plane. It's fun to watch a scene at an airport without feeling anxious!
@allie912 Thanks, Allie! I practically never feel anxious...yes, I wish it were "the old days" and it was more fun!... but with a camera along, I'm never bored! I have a binder-full of photos that won't make it beyond my computer, but I'm always having a good time & looking for the next picture!
Great view on the runway and plane. On my last visit to Schiphol ( to pick up our sun) I did n`t see any of it. Last time I`ve a flight was about 15 years ago and I did n`t like it very much.
