Fred stayed in with us for the night as the rain poured. In the morning, he followed me out as I took photos & this was the first time I got pictures of him in the daylight! I heard some hissing under the porch, and a cat walked off down the road into the rising sun... I thought it was Fred in my pictures...and then he popped up with a look
toward the retreating cat that said, "...and don't come back!"
Beautiful shot Louise. Love the lighting caught in his eyes. He looks so regal here. Thank you for my swan comment. After this summer and learning a new normal, my camera has been my therapy and given my eyes new sight. A year ago I would have been board watching birds but now I find I could sit for hours just waiting and watching. So peaceful.
