So often we tell a friend, "You've been in my thoughts", but when one (that would be me) is a poor correspondent, it's good to show proof. Our community member, Susan Klassen @dailypix , left her new home to travel half-way across Canada with her husband to be by his brother's side at a time of need. It can't have been easy on so many levels, but Susan remains upbeat and supportive. I knew her love of collecting beach glass, so when I found this one-and-only piece on a tranquil beach on Maui, I wanted a photograph to send to her (just in case the glass got lost, somehow, in the shuffle.)
It comes with the message that, "You've been in my thoughts. and my heart and prayers are with you and Michael's family."
Such a little thing...but a gift for an attending angel...
Your words have touched me deeply. They are so true and are truly worthy of keeping in mind. Very thoughtful of you, Louise. A photo that provokes emotion is special!
A beautiful gesture Louise and a lovely image to go with it!! What a good friend you are. My thoughts and prayers are with your friend and her family!!
I love, love, love this Louise! This is just so special I just viewed it a couple minutes ago. It's like a breath of fresh air and it made me cry...but really you are the Angel for taking the time to write this, take the picture and think of me. I am truly thankful for you, much love and hugs to you Louise! Oh and I so want to see that piece of sea glass. 😉😘
This is beautiful on every level. On an aside, I wear a piece of beach glass around my neck on a string thanks to @kevin365 - a best Christmas present!
@dailypix I'm delighted you recognized this gift to you... now to go dig through unattended unpacking... I'm making Shutterfly books this weekend! haha! Send me your current mailing addy in an email ♥
Love the lines.
