I'd promised I'd post a close up of this incredible blossom and always find that they're a bit hard to photograph them as I'd wish. Too close toward macro, and you'll miss the enormity of this 8" flower! But like so many flowers, it's the interior detail that is delicately exquisite! I hope this helps you see why we happily grow unattractive leaf-pads, just waiting for this 3-day special event!
Stunning! How often does this plant bloom like this? And they only last three days. This is so beautiful. Lovely shades of pink and the shade on the flower!!!
