That was the first sign at the Newfoundland Chocolate Co that drew us in! I bought boxes of chocolate for friends, so I treated myself to a hot chocolate...and not just ANY hot chocolate. I then took it "to the bar" where that ladle of chocolate was poured in, topped with whipped cream and those chocolate crunchy bits! Pam planned to get ice cream but changed her mind. Ken, not a huge fan of chocolate, got salted caramel ice cream.
The hot chocolate sounds divine! My vote is for salted caramel AND chocolate...the best of both. :) You are all having such fun exploring, eating, drinking and don't forget, giving your cameras a workout! I love seeing all your and Pam's photos. Louise, no hot chocolate here...in a heat wave reaching 111 tomorrow! I like warm weather but this is hot!
Just checking out if you have posted and found this wonderful memory! OMG what a chocolate overload! The drink needs to be renamed "death by chocolate " lol! Too much for me after the first two sips! I should have stuck with the ice cream! I think we will have to go back again so I can check it out! What a foodie heaven St John's proved to be! Was it only two weeks ago we were there? Such fun! Fav for a great collage - even though I am in it! Lol!
What a wonderful collection of images! The description of the chocolate delights is mouthwatering. Tell Ken it is unAmerican not to like chocolate, although being how you are in Canada right now, I guess I'll cut him some slack.
