Remember hollyhocks? It seems they are an old time flower not much in fashion anymore. My mom transplanted some this year and they are filled with pink and white blossoms.

We had a plot along the fence that was full of hollyhocks because Donna loves them. We gave some seeds to a neighbour, and a year or two later, ours just stopped coming back. We still see them in the neighbour's yard.
April, I am so sorry this is coming so late! I really like the challenge you gave me and am working on it! My challenge for you is to take a picture of something mechanized and that expresses some kind of movement. I hope that's alright with you and I really am sorry I took so long with this challenge!!
@dumais Oh Rose ... I am so sorry but I wasn't able to meet your challenge within the time frame. I went to the street carnival, and all the rides were closed because of an impending thunderstorm. I tried out a few ideas at home, but didn't really like them. I may still try this, but I won't make the time frame. It's a good challenge though .. obviously I need that push!
