The Children's Museum in San Luis Obispo. A little dust on the lens, corrugated metal siding and the sun just peeking around the corner made for an interesting theme shot.
Schmick! Okay...I'm going to try to use that once in awhile :) Haven't seen the sun since this theme started. I'm in Northern California so things were clearly nicer in SLO today. Great theme entry!
Fantabulous flairs!! What I love is that the shapes and colours in the flairs pic up those in the patterns around the bottom of the building - great result. How the hell'dya do that?!
@miranda I've always loved the shapes and colors of the museum details and I was SO hoping I could find some flare there for exactly the reasons you described. Thankfully, I happened to be there at just the right time of day and was able to move my camera around enough to maximize the potential. Woo hoo!
;-)
Love it! Especially like the slanted angle. Been drinking by any chance...?
Did you HDR the shot at all?
it better be one we can vote on!!
