@flygirl and I walked to a nearby park, a tiny little corner lot at the edge of our so-called Chinatown, to snap a few photos at lunchtime today. I had never actually stepped foot in the park so it was a nice to check it out. It's actually not as impressive as I had hoped, the "pond" was simply a concrete moat around the gazebo with no plants or fish or anything except muck. But it was interesting and although I didn't have my "real" camera with me today (the one day I don't have one, go figure) did manage to get a few quick shots with the phone.
I don't have the faintest idea of what these characters say, a few bits of a much larger writing; I'm hoping something wise or profound and not "Hey all you bums, stay out!"
beautifully done - looking very polished and perfect for a wall where you want to create a sense of tranquility - just hope the words fit with this ... funny!!
Very very nicely done, Jenn. Maybe someone will be able to translate the characters. It's really effective in the monotones, and the way you've made the 3 images appear to be standing out from the great-textured background. And of course I love triptychs anyway....
