Another late night as I attended a Camera Club event where former LA photojournalist Robert Ginn reviewed a selection of our people pics shot on "assignment" at a local farmer's market. I had not attended the outing so instead showed a few of the recent 365 hookup shots. Passing marks--whew! ...good thing he didn't see this one though, the only shot I took today which was a quickie from the phone in little light, pretty much on my way to bed!
Oh, Mokimop. I love that look on his face. The lines and composition of this are great, and I'm sure R. Ginn would give this shot high marks. Good to hear the camera club is still both so challenging and rewarding.
Great angle, wonderfully composed. You certainly have the gift of turning an otherwise everyday scene into a creative and interesting photo! (Cute doggie doesn't hurt either!)
jenn...did not get to really comment on this cuz i was on my phone...so you showed him your stuff from our meet up...what did he think of our wacky town..?? that is so cool that you are doing this...and i wannna hug that doggie
@robinwarner Bob had been the photo editor at the Times for many years (at least I think that's the paper he said) so is very familiar with LA's wacky sorts. He really liked the photos I submitted, especially the one of Dan, the Protector from under the streets. ...and you can come hug our dog any time!!!
