For Christmas in 2000 my Grandparents gave me this Georg Jensen Christmas ornament, it's titled "Shooting Star" (Georg Jensen releases a new design every year).
My grandfather passed away in 2002 and my Grandmother followed him in 2015, so I like to put this one up for Christmas next to a window where the sunlight is reflected in the dangling, gilded stars - this reminds me of my grandparents, and I remember just how much they meant to me growing up...
I shot this using the heart shaped aperture disc for my Lensbaby gear... I rarely use it I must admit, but for Christmas themed photos I kinda like the effect :-).
