Having a Poinsettia is a huge Christmas tradition here in Denmark... you find them everywhere - they are almost as common in the homes as Christmas trees and gnomes... In our home we don't have any Poinsettias though since they are very poisonous to cats, so instead I enjoy looking at all the ones we have at work...
Their latin name is "Euphorbia Pulcherrima" and in Danish they are called "Julestjerne" ("Christmas Star" in English.)
