Lavender by atchoo

Lavender

Our neighbours have been remodelling their garden over the last couple of weeks, and they were kind enough to ask us if we would be interested in some of the plants that they wanted to remove. Among those were an absolutely gorgeous magnolia tree as well as a couple of lavender bushes… and I have been secretly wanting both a magnolia tree as well as lavenders for years (but we have never gotten around to actually buying them), so I was thrilled to receive them as well as a few other plans.

The two lavender bushes are now in bloom, and it's such a pleasure to pass them by - they fill the air around them with this gentle and pleasing but still strong scent of lavender.

Thank you, Arthur... nice to know about the bees... good thing we planted one of them next to one of our crab apple trees then. The lavender should help attract the bees who pollinate the crab apple - hopefully. Thanks for your lovely comment :-).
