Since the National Bison Range didn't open until August 10th this summer due to COVID 19 concerns, we have been hoping it would remain open later than normal into the fall. The longer, upper road was closed after our recent heavy snowfall; but the shorter, lower route has remained open. We decided to get up early and take that drive, hoping for some good photo ops. We weren't disappointed! It will probably be our last drive-through for this season. Enjoy! :-)
The bison was the mascot of my college- apparently it had been rather abundant in the area when the college was founded. They are such massive animals. Great shot!
Hello, dear lovely Barb. Just noticed I hadn't seen you for 3 weeks, so I popped by to say hello and check you were okay. Sending love from my corner of England today.
@casablanca Thank you so very much, my dear 365 friend! I am well in body, praise the Lord! However, have been quite distracted and caught up in following the news (NOT on mainstream media, which I totally distrust at this point) following the upheaval and uncertainty surrounding our presidential election last month. Please pray for our nation, for truth to prevail...not simply for the candidate I voted for to win, but also for the preservation of everything good that has defined our nation. I also need motivation to "get back in the saddle" here at 365. Took some photos of the moon early this a.m. So will get those posted, at least! Thank you again for your loving concern and for noticing my absence! Barb
