Ken had to visit the hospital on Monday for blood work prior to extensive back surgery he will have on Monday, January 23rd. This was my view while I waited for him. Any of you who believe in the power of prayer, it would be most appreciated if you would remember us next Monday and for the duration of his expected recovery (4-6 months!). Needless to say, Ken won't be in his wood shop creating marvelous things for the first several months. :-( Best on black
@hunterjuly@milaniet@happysnaps@amyk Just an update for those of you who have offered to remember us in prayer as Ken has his surgery and lengthy recovery. I just saw that I put the wrong date for his surgery. It is coming right up this next Monday...on January 3rd!! We have had fairly regular snowy days, so appreciate prayers for good weather and roads as we travel into Missoula very early Monday morning!
Oh dearest Barb, will email you very soon! Having had back surgery myself and it took me 6 months to recover, I have total empathy with your beloved on this one. Sending all my love your way and tell Mr Wonderful I am cheering him on and keeping him in my prayers. xxx
@milaniet@casablanca Thank you, Milanie and Casa! A monkey wrench has entered the picture in the form of a head cold for Ken. So, we will have to ask them to reschedule his surgery, hopefully before January 14th so that he won't have to repeat all the pre-op tests. So do appreciate your prayers! We have had a lot of snow and more on the way.
