Nice shot. Since the pandemic started and has kept us housebound for more than 5 weeks, we wake up every morning to hear the Star Spangled Banner at 8 a.m sharp, blasting over the loudspeaker from the Navy base nearby. I go out on my balcony and actually look forward to hearing it each day.
Wish I had my camera when we went to the cemetery today - was showing my great-grandson how the flag was standing out. My husband died 3 years ago today and we paid a visit to the cemetery.
@milaniet Oh, Milanie, I imagine this was a bittersweet sight, as you recalled your life with your husband and the day of his passing. Glad you had your great-grandson with you!
