This fancy birdhouse my husband made was unoccupied for the longest time. We weren't sure if the birds perhaps disliked it for some reason. but, it now has a mama and a papa in residence.
@carole_sandford It is definitely one-of-a-kind, Carole. Ken had this slab wood from his brother (who was working at a mill) for along time and then, one day, decided to turn it into a birdhouse. :-)
