Festival Season comes to a close

Well one of the signs that the summer is coming to an end in Edmonton is when Churchill Square sits empty. The last big festival is going on right now The Fringe is currently running but it is held in Old Strathcona on the southside.
So I took this shot on the way to work. There is always a few events that will take place here and there over the fall and winter. Now for the most part the Square is quiet which is stillokay as it allows a chance for people to just sit and relax Today I posted two pics. one for the 21st and this one for today. That gets me caught up from my busy weekend
That is certainly empty brian, looks almost bleak and wintery already.

It's odd to see locations that are typically bustling, suddenly empty. Even though the spring came early this year, it still seems to have gone by quickly.
