Natures House Decorations

So here is aother shot from our drive through the Highlands neighbourhood in Edmonton. We spotted these icicles hanging on one of the homes. I had not seen any of these for awhile so thought this made a nice winter shot
Cool

Beautiful wintery decorations! Great find!
December 19th, 2012
A beautiful winter shot, although it must be a sunny day with the shadow of the chimney so predominant.
December 19th, 2012

December 19th, 2012

December 19th, 2012
Boy this makes me feel cold.
December 19th, 2012
Now people try to recreate the icicle effect with those strands of hanging twinkle lights.
The natural version is every so much prettier.
December 19th, 2012
Now this is a sight I haven't seen since I was a young child! Wonderful shot of those icicles....makes me want to snuggle by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa. Love it!
December 19th, 2012
Yep. Another keeper.
December 19th, 2012
Lovely but scary! I always liked icicles until I got older and learned how much damage they could do!
December 19th, 2012
We had storm last year that produced some pretty dangerous icicles on the eaves. Nice shot!

I think children like icicles more than adults (for good reason). I have fond childhood memories of icicles. Nice capture - I like everything you included in the frame.
