There are many wonderful things about being on 365. One of these is the way photos of other people can be an inspiration. So this week I am posting some photos that are a result of how some of my fellow 365ers have inspired me in the past few days.
Todays photo is of a statue on the Centennial Plaza located behind our main library downtown. It is entitled The Trader and is of an early pioneer John A McDougall who played a huge part in the development of our city. He made his money by trading furs he recieved from natives in the area. I chose this pov from the inspiration I received from Kerri @kerristephens who posted a couple of shots of a statue back on Feb 14 and 15 Thanks Kerri
Fabulous, Brian! I love it that you shot the back of the statue. It offers a cool POV. I also love your idea to be inspired by others on 365. I did a series of photos along the same theme in year one and it was so much fun. When you are on this site long enough you start to see shots that you know others would love.
Like you, I am inspired by so many people (including you!) on 365. Love the way you caught the angle and it actually looks like they're conversing. Interesting info, too!
@ladydi53 I have taken several shots of this from the front over the years. I was standing in the library when I saw this and decided to take this shot from behind
@lauriehiggins Thanks Laurie. I have taken so many shots of this statue from the front over the years so when I saw it from this angle I thought it would make a great shot
