Congratulations go to Ariel, for winning the Yellow (2) theme, he's been in the top 5 and not won more than anyone else I think, so well done for persisting and consistently taking theme worthy photos.
At first when Ariel told me this weeks theme would be "Sound" I was a little confused, sound!?? how do you picture that? But I gave it some thought and ideas soon started coming in.

Thanks Nicole, Gly, Jaydee! At last after a year, I won on a theme challenge!
Also, thanks to all who voted for my photo!
I chose something different for this week. As I was riding a vehicle yesterday, I randomly thought how can I picture sound... I can't think of any way how to do it so I decided to ask for some help through this weekly theme challenge.
Theme-sound is open for all your creative ideas. We always see emotive photos that pinch our hearts, or colorful ones that put smile on our face... for this theme, isn't it awesome (but difficult) to see something that makes us 'hear' something... I can't exactly put it into words... I know it's kinda weird to hear using our eyes...
Apologies, for a weird theme, people...
Let's give this a try! :)
Congratulations on the win!
My fiancee was born deaf. He has worn hearing aids all his life, but his deafness has closed him off from a lot of the world. If captions aren't on TV, forget it. If he can't see your face when you talk to him, forget it. (on that I am lucky because we have excellent communication) He plays bass in a metal band, and he builds and repairs amps for his friends and other guys in bands.
Last summer he received a new pair of hearing aids from Starkey Hearing Aids.. and he hears so much more now. His batteries do die faster, but he can hear sounds that he couldn't hear before. Like the washing machine in the basement, or the hum of the fridge. Without hearing aids at all, he can't hear anything, not even my laughter...So this is my favorite picture for sound.. my fiancee drawing out a tube amp he has since built...
And one of my son !!
I know its not a winner, but I love that my dog is so excited to go for a walk with me.
