But in vain. No snacks for Foxykins this morning. The cooler weather continues thank goodness although as our lovely brick houses are designed to keep us warm, the heat remains inside - quite a hot night. And thunderstorm warning for parts of the south tomorrow.
In the office for the first time this week and was nice to see not just some of our team, but 3 of our old interns. Helped boss sift applications for our vacancy - disappointingly only 4, and only one was any good. Generally an uneventful day until last thing when, rather bizarrely as I was ranting to Ros about last minute ridiculous requests, an email dropped into the inbox saying it was needed live instantly at 5pm - the email arrived at 16.56. I had to tell them that it would be physically impossible. We managed it in 20 minutes.
3 good things
1. No obvious problems with Dave's poo test.
2. Team work when you need to get an urgent job done.
3. Nice to catch up with some of our former interns - the 2019 intake - in the pub after work.
You're some kind of hard-hearted woman who can resist him!!! I kept cat food and dog chow on hand for my raccoons if I didn't have table scraps. He's just beyond adorable...I'd want to cuddle him eventually! and also, your garden makes fabulous use of the square footage! It's beautiful!
