On Walthamstow marshes. It was a lovely bright morning and stayed that way all day - a touch colder. Having not ventured out of the house yesterday, I cycled down the towpath and briefly onto the marshes and back home before brunch.
Halloumi and exotic mushrooms after. Mum stayed another day so we watched Aladdin. Spent the afternoon finishing my book and generally taking it easy. Smorgasbord supper of dips, herring and cheese board. Messaged my sister as it was her birthday.
Christmas viewing record:
- Aladdin recorded from yesterday - excellent film.
- Detectorists return for Christmas - there is no 'the' in Detectorists. Always a treat, lovely to see another helping of these misfits.
3 good things
1. Quiet on the marshes before the hordes got down there for Boxing Day fresh air.
2. Finally finished the book I've been reading since August.
3. Squeezed some music playing into my oh-so-busy day.
Not nice riding a bike on those puddles in case you lost your balance and fall face down into the water. Still, together with the curve tthey make a lovely shot .
